Purpose Of Life
I took time off from my work
Hoping to see a purpose for life
I assumed that all have a single universal purpose
I forgot that the Paramatma is more simple and complex
In his great wisdom he has designed a huge complex of Atmas
To each one of the billions of Atmas a purpose has been given
Your purpose is never the same as mine
From the time we are born there is a single task or Dharma I have to do
Before that I can never leave this body
Some of us realize our Dharma
Performing that I will be ready for Moksha
Others may never know even at death
and many births are required
Performing our Dharma we will have an effect on many other Atmas
and if we fail to perform the task....... others will suffer
The Paramatma protects us from disaster and death
So that we will live to complete our task
Now I do not worry about the purpose of life
All that I have to work out is "What is my Dharma"
