Walk In The Park
For most of us a walk in the park, a drive in the forest or even a walk in a tree lined road is pleasant.
We feel calm and under control.
We feel your life is in your palm
Now walk to one old tree and run your palm on its trunk
Now close your eyes and feel the soul of the tree
And ask yourself.......
How many of these trees were there before you were born?
How many of them will be there after you are gone?
This will make you jump back and think
How small we are
How little we know of the world around us
Now plant a tree whenever you can
You will leave your legacy behind
